To say it was the road trip of a lifetime is the understatement of the century. A quick debrief; 10 days. 3 girls; an almost perfect stranger and a pair of lifelong best friends who decided a few months ago that they were just going to fucking do it. And just fucking do it we did.
We came out of it stronger, more inspired, more creatively charged and more alive than ever holding a happy heart full of warmth and memories, and plans to pursue. Never in my entire life have I felt more connected to other people, to the earth, to myself. We shared a one man tent, endless conversations, thunderstorms, mountain climbs, rain dances, wet socks, deadly dirt roads, jacket potatoes, nudie swims, belly laughs and smiles to strengthen incredible, lifelong friendships and create memories I have nostalgia for so strongly it almost brings me to tears some days. We embraced spontaneity, creativity, the liberation of freedom and youth and we climbed literal and metaphorical mountains. I love both of these incredible humans so incredibly much, and I want to thank them again for the life changing trip we embarked on together.Maddie. Sophie. This is our adventure. Enjoy.
