Homemade acai bowl

Who doesn't love acai? It tastes so good it's almost bad, but it's so good for you it's just, well, good!
Not only is it super simple to make, but super cheap too if you source your produce from local, honest businesses like Charlie's Fruit (which is where I shop) or the markets. Buy a ton of mangoes & bananas when they're in season and freeze them for the colder months- you'll save money and time and you can use them as the bases for smoothies or acai bowls, and for baking!

What you'll need:
2 frozen small/medium ripe bananas
1-1/2 frozen mango cheeks
150ml  JT'S coconut water or coconut water of choice
Tbsp Loving Earth or Amazonia Acai powder (you can buy this from your local health food store or order it off their online store)

How you'll make it:
Blend. Couldn't be more simple.

Top with fresh fruity goodies, or my sugarfree, gluten free, vegan granola if you're feeling crafty- and dig in.
