Perfect porridge

 So porridge is basically my favourite thing, ever. So incredibly versatile it's kind of wonderful.


You can basically pair it with anything and get a delicious bowl of goodness.


 You can even theme porridge! Like sticky date pudding porridge. Or apple pie porridge.
So, recipe time.
So basic. I promise.
1/2 cup of oats
1 cup of desired liquid- soy milk, almond milk, coconut water, juice etc
Boom. Chuck in a pan. Stir till it bubbles and soaks up all that liquid goodness and boom you have yourself the base for your creation.
I'm going to list a few of my personal favourite combinations for porridge so hold steady!

Strawb-nana porridge:
Strawberries and banana and any yoghurt and any toppings (my faves are goji berries, buckinis, coconut chips, nuts)

Blueb-nana porridge:
Blueberries and banana and any yoghurt and any toppings (my faves for this are coconut chips, vanilla almonds, buckinis)

Apple pie porridge:
Stewed apple (put diced/peeled apple in the microwave/stovetop with coconut sugar and cinnamon), any yoghurt OR nicecream (one frozen banana, diced apple + a little milk of choice) and any toppings (walnuts/cashews, buckinis, sultanas and coconut chips)

Passionate porridge:
Passionfruit and banana, any yoghurt and any toppings (nuts, coconut chips, sultanas, buckinis)

Banana porridge:
Banana, coconut sugar, cinnamon, any yoghurt and any toppings (dried banana, coconut chips, banana chips, nuts)

Sticky date pudding porridge:
Diced dates, coconut or brown sugar, cinnamon, walnuts/almonds/cashews, maple syrup

Everything porridge:
Banana, any fruit, any yoghurt, and any toppings (goji berries, dried banana, buckinis, nuts, coconut chips, cinnamon, coconut sugar, mulberries, sultanas)
